Nikia Smith, Syracuse, to Perform in the Southwestern College A Cappella Choir April 19

The Southwestern College A Cappella Choir will present their Spring Choral Concert on Sunday, April 19, at 3 p.m., in the Richardson Performing Arts Center in the Christy Administration Building on the campus of Southwestern College. The public is invited to attend and there is no admission charge.

Nikia Smith, Syracuse, is a member of the A Cappella Choir at Southwestern College.

The concert will be the final event of the Founders Day Weekend celebration at Southwestern which begins April 16.

The spring concert is titled "SoundScapes."

"This concert features a collage of vocal qualities and sounds that will capture the audience's attention and imagination," says Brian Winnie, director of choral activities and voice at SC. "The program presents an array of styles from sacred to popular including Ola Gjeilo's 'The Ground from Sunrise Mass' and Michael Jackson's hit 'Will You Be There."
