Trey Bruton, Meriden, Named KCAC Scholar Athlete

The Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced 2011 KCAC Scholar-Athletes for men's and women's cross-country.

Student-athletes must have sophomore standing at the start of the season, maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.33 on a 4.0 scale, and letter in their sport.

Trey Bruton, Meriden, has earned scholar athlete status.

Southwestern College is a private institution granting undergraduate and graduate degrees and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. About 1,700 students attend classes at the main Winfield campus, at five professional studies sites in Kansas and Oklahoma, or online around the world.
